El Movimiento is a grassroots movement fighting for justice, immigrant rights, and community power. We use non-violent, direct action to challenge oppression, disrupt unjust systems, and build a world where every person—regardless of race, immigration status, or background—can live with dignity and freedom.

Dallas Votes: El Movimiento Block Party
Date: March 29, 2025
Time: 2 PM - 6 PM
Location: Kiest Park (3080 S Hampton Road)
Description: Free, community-powered event organized by us bringing local elections to life with music, food, raffles, and resources. We’re inviting city council candidates, offering voter registration, and giving out free district-colored pins to everyone who RSVPs.
MEGA March
Date: March 30, 2025
Time: Starting at 1 PM (March for approx. 45 minutes)
Location: Meeting Point - 2215 Ross Ave, Downtown Dallas
Description: Join us as we march at the Mega March to make our voices matter for Immigration Reform.

Pushing for accountability, transparency, and reallocation of resources to community-based safety initiatives that truly protect all DFW residents.

Addressing White Supremacy in Policing
Work to advance effective, fair, and constitutional policing, improve conditions of confinement and reentry outcomes, and improve data collection and analysis to guide policies and decision making.

Protecting Fair Housing
Fighting discrimination in housing by corporate landlord (Willow Bridge Property Company) whose discriminatory practices make housing unsafe to persons because of race, color, religion, national origin, familial status or disability.
